Seasons, Months of the Year, Days of the Week

Time is a very abstract concept for kids. A sense of time is gradually gained as kids grow up, and they need lots of meaningful experiences with time (such as Birthdays, New Years) in order to gain a clear understanding of the time concepts. Generally, after age 6, kids start to learn time concepts, such as seasons, days of the week, months of the year, and event dates. Knowing these time concepts is quite important for the future life of kids.

This worksheet lists months of the year, celebrations of the year, seasons of the year, and days of the week. Months of the year are January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December. Celebrations during the year include Christmas, New Year, and Birthday. Seasons of the year are illustrated with corresponding pictures, including spring, summer, fall (autumn), and winter. Days of the week are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Parents can use this worksheet to help kids enhance their time awareness.
